Prodigy UK tour

Might have went to the Newcastle one if it was cheaper but £80 is just silly.

I've seen them live 3 or 4 times so wasn't that fussed but anyone seeing them for the first time should be in for a treat (especially if the new songs are good).

Plus, bands always play up here on a weeknight and keep London for the weekend.
Already got all my holidays in for 2015 and not keen on gigs then work the next morning even if I don't drink. Not these days - feel old...)

You are my double, saved me writing exactly the same thing and I mean exactly the same.

Lul wut tickets are £40 for both Blackpool and Newcastle... I'm looking at ticketmaster right now and it's £40 clear as day.

There were none available at that price when I tried to buy them 1 minuite after they released. Try and buy one and see what happens when you get to the checkout ;-)

I hope you guys didn't get busted as I certainly paid £40 for Cardiff and it was definitely the same price for everywhere else except London when they first went on sale.

Yeah - that's what I'm saying - listed at that price but at 09:01 (or since) there were none avail at that price.

Sounds like a big flub with the resellers - when they went on sale at 10am Monday they were £40 on the prodigy website... But as you say they were double price today! Hope you get a partial refund at least :(

Loads left in London but for 2 its about £105 on friday and £150 on saturday all in...eek probs will end up getting them!
Friday is a late show though 9pm-3am - not sure my old age can deal with that.

Yeah it's pretty good. I feel this is the first album which hasn't really sounded...new though. This very much sounds like Invaders Must Die Part 2. Still a good track though.

IMD was the ******* child of Experience, while I predict the new album will be the ugly offspring of Fat of the Land.

Will we ever see the prodigal son of Jilted....I doubt it.

Bumpatron! So the new album is available for streaming on itunes - having a listen through now.

Listening to the songs in a cluster does improve things as it tones down the obnoxious Keef Flint vocals (which I think are destined to become more detested than Fred Durst's). Still, I find them really grating.

Half way through, but Destroy is the clear stand-out thus far.

Picked the album up in Tesco's earlier, Beyond the deathray and Rhythm Bomb are, in my opinion, the only decent tracks.

Most of the others are ruined by Flints shoutyness, Ibiza being the worst offender.

Rebel Radio and Ibiza are by far an away the worst tracks, but on the whole I am liking the whole vibe off of the album.

I am not sure it is going to stay high on my playlist long term, but I definitely like the album which is more than I can say for Invaders Must Die

Big Prodigy fan. I'm sure it will split opinion this album as people seem to expect too much.

This definitely has elements of Invaders must Die in it i.e.

"Get your fight on" : Take me to the hospital bass and beat
"Roadblox" : Piranha drum pattern/beat

But equally, "Medicine" sounds a bit like some of the stuff on Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned.

"Destroy" - loving this. Sounding like a modern day remake of some of the original more rave roots with synth samples like out of The Experience.

"Rhythm bomb" has an amazing drop! "Rok-Weiler" has a wicked raspy synth riff in it sounding very hard and aggressive.

Overall, it's just more of the music I love and have grew up listening too since 1990.

New album just doesn't do it for me. Destroy and Beyond the death Ray are pretty good but that is it.

Stick on "Rhythm of Life" or "The Narcotics Suite" and you will hear The Prodigy that I love.
