Hi

I have a copy of Microsoft Office 2007 and it has the option to install on 2 computers with the product key I have.

I have had to uninstall and then reinstall the software and it asked me to enter the product key again.

Does this mean that I've used up the 'allowence' or does it somehow recognise that it's the same machine?

Cheers :)

I wouldn't worry about it at all. if it did come to it playing silly buggers, a quick phone call and that would be it.. i doubt it would even come to that by the way!

In here and out there.
How many times you re-install office on the same machine or different machines doesn't matter as long as it is only installed on a maximum of two machines at any one time.

To add further confusion one of the stipulations of the Office license is that the second installation is intended for a portable device to allow you to carry your Office install wherever you go, installing on two desktop computers breaks the license.
