currently i have 3 hdds, intel x25 v 40gig, samsung 500, wd 320.
intel is used for os and other bits, wd has loads of stuff from previous backups, pics, vids etc etc, and the samsung had a previous win7 os with all windows structure still in place ( still bootable )
all my games and progs are shortcut from the samsung to the desktop which is intel ssd. if i wanted to format the samsung to clear the win7 os and have a fresh 500 gig to play with, how would i go about storing my games and prog on it to run as shortcuts as they did before the format ? obviously i would have to reinstall, but would i just create a program files folder and install what ever in there, then shortcut as before ?
only reason i ask is im unsure how it would work as id be starting with 500gig of free space, were as before it had a full o/s with the program files folder already set up
