Is there a program anyone could recommend that will display my frames per second during games?

Or msi afterburner. It will also display fan speed, temps, gpu usage, memory usage etc. Also takes screenshots and video, all free as well.

ok well i seem to be averaging 45 fps in battlefield3 with high setting - so i'm pleased with that

BF3 has an FPS meter built in there is no need to use a third party programme. Open console and type:

render.drawfps 1

You know you could just open the console and type Render.DrawFps 1 to display the fps in BF3.
