program to design case

Hi all, ok so after searching long and hard i cannot find a case that i actually like, so my brother said why not make a case from wood! as hes a wood cnc machinist he can proper job !!

so ive been playing around on google sketchup but finding it hard to actually make a case look like how i want it!! and do inside details etc, gonna base it around fractal r2 or my current antec 900 as i will probably take this apart for mb tray etc

is there any other programs that might be of use or sktchup is best to use (free)

Sketchup is your best bet, I can't think of anything else thats free and will do a better job

starting to get to grips with sketchup!! but very annoying tho!!

Yea it is but hey least its free u might also think about a renderer addon.

SketchUp is probably the best free option, although I've found it slightly hard and annoying to use at times.

Another program, although not free, is Solidworks - it's fairly easy to use and understand and when used properly, it can create some stunning pieces of work
