I installed an online gaming program, then it updated and installed them in my start menu, where the list of programs are. I uninstalled the software but the files for another version of the program as still in the start menu and i can still open the application

How do i remove all traces of this program please. already tried c cleaner and my PC is clean from malware

Can you navigate to the location of where it was installed? c:\program files (x86)\programname... and see if there is an uninstall file there?

Is it Visible within the Add/Remove programs sections still?

Go to the program in the start menu, right click it and choose properties and within the properties, there should be a location/target field under the shortcut tab.

Within the Target field, it will tell you where the software is running from. Copy and past the file location into the address bar leaving the actual *programname.exe* out and press enter and this will be the location of the software. Or you could just click Open file location and it will take you to the same location.

You should be able to find the uninstall file within here.

hi i tired that but it did not find anything to uninstall so i installed the software again and then removed with iobits to see if that worked but it didn't...

One idea is to install in the start menu over the "other instillation and then uninstalling. How can i install the actul files in thart menu i can install in a FOLDER in the start menu but i want no folder just the files. THere is only the option to install in ...start meny/programs WITH the folder?
