Programs that can sort your music into folders.

All my music is scattered around the place. Is there any program what can sort them into artist or album folders ?
Need to delete my doubles

Pretty sure iTunes could do this. You just set to to manage your music in the itunes folder or click consolidate library or something.

The best ones that I know off are either MusicBrainz Picard or MP3Tag

Tell it to organise your library, and copy music to your library.

Add the your albums one by one from your strewn locations.

ctrl-A, Ctrl-I adjust the details, rinse and repeat. Once done uninstall itunes and delete all the junk files it makes. and You'll have an nicely organised library. Be sure to tick , group compilations, and tag compo appropratel so you get proper albums and not artist strewn everywhere.

I beleive it may be changed now, but couple of years ago ituneswould only suppor ta max filename length so it truncated a whole bunch of my files. But mp3 tag sorted that out in a jiffy.
