A colleague of mine believes in "progressive driving", e.g. you generally don't give way on the roads unless someone is about to drive into you :p

Anyway, after driving past the Road Closed sign (due to flooding in the area), he thought we would "take a look and see". Personally I wouldn't have gone through this..

Got through fine somehow. I had to go through something similar but not as bad when we had the snow

Little Jimmy mini-bus driver did that recently in the floods we had a few weeks ago up here.

He thought it would be a good idea to try and get through some seriously deep spate of flood water over a bridge.

Within about twenty minutes, we had him and his passenger rescued via rope rescue kit and water rescue equipment.

Think he was a wee bit red faced :-

Your mate sounds like a grade one prat imo. ;):p

Good Effort & Excellent pics as well, This thread is Win Win.
I'd have taken the Vit through there no messing but water & Zooks is a bit dodgey as they are so light. My mates bobtail got lifted up at the rear going through a flood, Literally floated :p

^^ That Vid gets a bit Grizzly at 4mins mate. I thought my Monitor had a crack in it :(

Wow! Stranded in 5" of water only meters away from dry land, how did she survive that? Leaves and twigs floating dangerously close which could have toppled the car at any time! Very lucky to be alive after that ordeal.

Yeah extreme stuff! She may have died if she got out and walked. Stupid bint.

A lorry followed us through :p

At least we would have a push if got stuck :D

I've done that before - Gloucester last year - (pushed a car out of a flood with my HGV) - the ******** claimed off me for damaging their car!:(

Next time I'll let them drown! :D

Did you cause damage? What did your empolyer do?

Kind of crushed the rear end of a Vauxhall Zifara, squashed the bumper & creased the rear door.

What annoyed me was the car was dead anyway - the engine had literally gone bang & had a big hole in the block - chances are it was flood damage scrap anyway.

Given the circumstances, my then employers were sweet. :) - The Zifara driver asked me to push him out! - The insurers did not seem to care about this point though.

No damage to the Scania.
