Project : ASUS AT3IONT-I HTPC

Lilttle tip for you: 2,5" hdd/ssd dont need 12V line to power.

So you can use only 5V line (two cables +5V and GND) from mobo molex.

In one project I used the same mobo but not hdd, just SSD and for power it up i used 5V from internal usb pins.

+ you should change this sata cable to blue and will be perfect

Whats it actually made out of?

The internal part (clear) and the front and back panels (blue) are from acrylic the cover is made from a composite panel material . It's made from two layers of aluminium with a core of polythene . It comes in a few finishes.... this one is painted white .

if somebody want similar case + cheaper parts
I have the same asus deluxe mobo and 1x2 or 2x2 ram
can do custom plexi case for that, colour and shape

I really want to see the same chassis in alu :O
