I've been really enjoying Project Cars 2 in VR (and I haven't even been bothered to go get my wheel and stand out of the garage yet - I'm sure it'll get a few degrees better still when I stop being so lazy!

Being able to glance to the outside to judge your position versus another car, then glance to the inside to watch yourself right on the the apex is fantastic.

A weird thing I just found though - having finished a race in snow at Brands, where I got rather sideways after hitting a puddle, I thought it'd be cool to watch it on a reply. Slightly bemused to find out that in VR the 'trackside' view appears to be from a single position in the stands for the entire race! In pancake version, it is (as you'd expect) a series of camera angles from various points around the track.

Well that was immensely irritating. Qualified in 1st for a race after 20 minutes of perfecting my lines, go into race, and suddenly it's like the steering sensitivity setting on my pad has been massively reduced - can't go round a corner at all.

Go into settings, and it's on 17 - which does seem very low. Reset to default, and it retains all the same settings. Set it to 100 and restart the race, still the same issue. Unplug and re-plug the pad, still the same. So completely undrivable.

Have had to quit the game, which because I started the race I think will mean I've got a DNF (in career mode).

Can't be bothered to load it up again now to see if it is fixed.

The other annoyance it keeps doing is suddenly deciding to reset the view to a different angle when I start a session. Luckily in single player I can pause and reset it manually, but still annoying. In multiplayer, sitting in front of a wheel, it'd be an absolute game breaker!

I can report that on loading the game up again, the issue is fixed. And also that it didn't DNF me for the race, I was able to race from the start again.
