yeah just over half, thing is, im upgrading from single skt 478 to dual core goodness, maybe quad core is a little bit above my station? i mean, how many apps ACTAULLY use all those cores? folding? dvd encoding whilst gaming?
 
Fair point, but if you're going to slap something under water then a quad core would give the best returns (over an equivalent air solution) in that many people are finding they cannot OC a quad on air without getting sky high temps.
 
ok, thanks melbourne, i promise i will give it some careful consideration, and make my decision on the prices on the 26th.
