Project Downsize - 700D -> Raijintek Thetis

I'm looking at picking up one of these shortly. Couple of questions if you don't mind:

Do you think there would be space for a 240 mm rad at the top and a small reservoir/pump combo sat at the bottom?

Your front panel connectors look like they're extremely close to the fans at the top. Is that the case or are the pictures just deceptive?

Also, do you ever hoover?

There is definitely space at the bottom; for the top the radiator fixings (which come included) actually float the mount away from the motherboard. You might need some slim fans or do what I did, which is to route the cables through the fans after sawing at them.

It's going to be tight though. Try googling Raijintek Thetis water cooled and you can get some ideas - some posts on reddit.

Thanks for that. Definitely looks possible :)

I just saw your other thread, and I can't think of anything more suitable for the price than the Thetis btw. I had one but wanted even smaller and went with the NZXT H1. Managed to snag a Thetis from OcUK B grade for £40!

Because you have a mATX motherboard there should be zero problems.

The only thing to be wary of is your PSU. 140mm in length means you will have a lot of room but anything more and it might not fit. So please check.

As above it would be tight, but with slim fans and moving the GPU down it *should* be doable

They are close, but not enough to give any concern, may be slightly deceptive but a small amount of clearance

Also, do you ever hoover?

Do you really need to ask ? :D:p

Received my Thetis.
First impression - super rattly PCIe slot covers. Will need to tape them up for sure

Really, are they deinfatly screwed in fully and the top cover in place? just checked and mine are solid ....

Sure. Its no problem to fix, figured just putting some tape on the end, no bend required
But I can imagine the racket if that was used with a HDD
