Saturday night i decided after one too many beers i wasn't happy with the cooling performance of my current pc (EVGA Hadron Hydro with a 4790k and a 780 ti both underwater on a single dual rad, it does get a tad toasty under load).

So out came the credit card and i bought a Parvum S2.0 along with a host of new blocks, rads, pump, res, etc.

Spec -

CPU: i7 4790K
GPU 980 GTX
RAM:16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz
MOBO: Asus Gryphon Z97 (armor will be sprayed white)
PSU: Corsair HX850i (plus green cables)
HDD: 1 x 120GB Samsung EVO SSD & 1 x 1TB Samsung EVO SSD

Water Cooling -
Monsoon compression fittings
EK 980 GTX Acetal and Nickel block
EK Backplate
EK Supremacy Evo CPU block
Pump and top TBD
Res TBD
2 x XSPC AX240 Radiators (White)
Mayhems green fluid

Case and a few blocks etc -



(The box wasn't battered like that on arrival i was just eager to get into it).



Nice shiny new green monsoon fittings (yup sorry, yet another green build)!







New Parvum case, went together easily and it looks really nice, going to enjoy building in it -





And a few new rads, block and pump/res combo -

You'd have saved a fortune on just buying some Irn Bru for a hangover, but hey wtf we all love a Parvum build around here.

I wasn't too happy with the black stealth rads i bought so decided to try these ones -





Test fit with new fans -



Also, can't decide if i should go for the d5 pump with fixed Ek res -



Or go for the d5 with an EK pump top and this mini res -

Boo :( thanks to oveclockers the mobo I ordered is now out of stock, going to delay my build some what ! Might have to have a change of plans....

Ok, have now decided go with and a 4790k build and not X99 but i shouldn't notice much difference in gaming -

i7 4790K
16 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR 3 1600hz (Green)
Asus Z97 Gryphon Armour edition, going to spray the armour white i think.
And a 980 GTX

Bits should be with me on Monday :D

Nice build :)

I'm really thinking about switching my plans and going for a Parvum case. Only issue is I know I have to change the mobo but I have the rads already so wondering is there anyway of getting a 360mm rad in one of these? :)
 
You order "reverse windo etching" in parvum store and they will make 360 support for You. My m8 was gonna do it but he got pretty nice deal on used case.
 
What are people's thoughts on fan orientation ? Intake on the front rad and exhaust on the top rad and rear 80mm fans ? Or intake on both front and top rads ?
 
Front in, top out, no 80mm fans. Also I prefer the EK pump/res to the frosted D5 top but maybe it would be too black? Were you going to use colored tube and the BP res instead of dyed coolant?

Didn't think about not using the 80mm fans. It's either clear tubing with dyed coolant and the EK pump/res or coloured tubing, clear fluid and the pump/top and separate res (got kit for both configurations).

Am leaning towards the EK pump/res combo will be using an acetal/nickel gpu block so a little bit of black can be the third colour.
