I salvaged this micro tower emachine from death by crusher and i am injecting it with a new life. So far ive justed chucked everything in the rig and got it running. I will be stripping it to have the chassis sprayed and then il goto work on the rest. Removed the floppy drive plate since the pics and replaced it with a blank from a donor emachine, much smoother :) (think some fibreglass is in order muhahahaha)

My case looks just like that. Except smaller! And less cool.

Tear off that horrific front and try and build your own front.

Don't take me seriously. :p

Looks like one of those emachines that suffered PSU failure which also killed the mobo. I've written off more of those than I can remember!

:D thx, the side panel does fit and i will be cutting a window into it plus i have been thinking about mounting the intake fan down the front bottom corner as there is not enough space to mount it on the front although i could ditch the front usb & audio panel. It does look bigger in those pics but its 365x390x180mm (HxDxW) running a matx nforce mb, 4gb geil ddr2, AMDx2 5200 @ 2.9Ghz (i would need to chech that i havent looked in ages) 10% oc, 9600GT 512mb running 10% oc on the core + shader. (Benchmark 9998 3D mark 06, crysis all settings high no anti ali gfx bechmark avg 31 fps pre oc) As for the front panel i had already thought about building a new one :D or use fibreglass to reshape the existing one. Undecided :D

Yeah the problem was super cheap-ass PSUs, not that the mobo was that good anyway in any of them.

Just looks a bit weird seeing a decent machine in there, those cases remind me of hundreds of HW failures!

I've sourced another water kit, modding is more addictive than i thought :D My friends selling his think i should ditch the zalman for it or?

Moved it from tempory storage (under the desk) and used it for my bedside pc
some pics of it fired up
