Project First Build

Ok, so ill cut straight to the chase i could have done a step by step of my build but in all honesty i got carried away after to driving up to OCUK on Saturday morning to fetch my parts before i could blink i had the thing installing windows with a lot of help from my friend so didn't manage to get a step by step guide

Parts are as follows

Bitfenix case
ASRock 970 Extreme R2.0 AMD 970 Motherboard
SuperFlower 750W Fully Modular PSU
Kingston 1866MHZ (8GB) RAM
SeaGate 2TB HDD
Crucial Mach Xtreme Turbo SSD
ASUS Radeon 280x
AlpenFohn 120mm Heat Sink
AMD Piledriver FX-8 CPU
3x Silverstone Red LED 120mm Fans

Good job mate, really nice 1st build. Really wish I had done a build log too, but thought people were only interested in the 'uber custom builds'. Nice to see the support for all builds!!
 
I think we all just have a passion for tech, whether its super duper components or bargin bin cast off's we all like to share our experiences.

For me its about learning new skills and the fun of trying something different. The community support is great also, I've had lots of helpful tips and advice and that's what makes this Forum my home of choice.

I like seeing all the builds whether it be something done for a family member or friend. For me it doesn't have to be custom this/that to make me read the log. I enjoy them all either way.
 
Yeah, I have seen the support for all builds, of all shapes, sizes and budgets since joining the forums and it's great to see. I defo would have done a log if I'd known that at the beginning...

If the wife gives me sign-off for a LUXE, maybe I will do me a "transplant" project log lol

I like your build Phonic and look fwd to seeing some tinkering... fan controller, braided cables, lighting maybe? ;)
