Project: Fun with water

looks great can you take a few more pictures of the bottom of the case so i can get an idea space wise with PSU and RAD, want to see if i can push/pull the RAD and still fit my PSU
i also noticed your using the 92mm fans as intakes, ive seen this mentioned in another To7 thread why? i was going to use them as exhausts and fit a front fan aswell as the 2 top ones as intakes??

yes you could do a push/pull, although the fan next to the psu would more or less be touching it, will get some detailed pics up of the bottom compartment

as for the 92mm fans as intakes, thats the default configuration for this case, never thought to question it! im not changing the direction of the 120mm exhaust fans as getting them mounted on the rubber grommets was insanely tricky.
i wouldnt see much of a problem with changing it round though.

toying with the idea of an extra water loop, just to get cpu temps down to reasonable levels and incase i ever wanted to add an extra 4870x2
but this build runs so quiet, another pump would mean more sound :(

nice build - i would have liked to see the bloodrage and case used in a red/black themed build - but you have come up with some cool ideas

when building TJ07's at work i always wish they had the holes you cut on the mob tray as standard

would be so much easier to build!!!

i wouldnt lap the cpu any more tbh

leave it as is

my i7 920 runs at 85'c across the cores at 4ghz on a 120.1 tfc rad

so yours sounds right with having the nb and gpu in there

i would get the gpu on the triple ran and get the cpu on a tfc double

that will bring the cpu down to a good temp

tip for all watercooling users - if doing a new build NEVER recycle tubing

for what it costs, you may as well buy new and have the piece of mind

i use 7/16 on 1/2 Dtek barbs and it doesnt move

the entire OcUK tech department swears by that combo
