After someone at work told me my new machine looks like the A Team Van I decided to go with the idea...

WD4156390A-TEAM-VAN.thumb_zpskp0yhehr.jpg

This is my new machine build around the, I must say GORGEOUS H440 Case

Its a jump to haswell for me, and a really exciting build for me, as I dont get to do new machines often as other responsibilities come first

Will keep this updated as much as I can :)

Spec is going to be:

MSI Z87-G45 Motherboard
G3258K (for now) with a monster OC as possible - i5 / i7 when funds allow
8GB Team Elite 1600Mhz with an OC
Crossfire HD7950 ICEQ Boost
Antec Kuhler 950 AIO W/C for CPU
3x Xilence Red Wing top fans

Future upgrades:

Dual Kraken G10 GPU cooling
i5 4670K or higher
Team Group Vulcan 2400Mhz RAM (16GB)
Eyefinity 22/24" x3 screens

So here are the first few pics below...enjoy

** Intel cooler just for testing :D

Thats as far as I have got so far....need to strip parts from current rig when wife isnt working from home :)

Had a quick mess about in the BIOS on my lunch break and by just upping the Multi to x42 and voltage increase to 1.25v from 1.175....Instant 4.2GHz

Still need to test it properly but thats on the test Intel cooler. should imagine 4.5+ is going to be easy with the Kuhler 950 installed

So got round to finishing everything off yesterday, have to say I have never been so proud of a build. Case just allows the user to make everything so tidy!

Seems I have opened a can of worms (and my wallet) on this build as have a kuhler 620 on way to mate up with a G10 kraken to w/c the gpu and looking for a second to do both cards

Also have a kraken x40 140mm cpu cooler to potentially swap out with the antec 950 as its the loudest thing in case now lol

that's one ugly looking cooler O_O. Isn't there enough pipes to put in the front of the case? Would look way better. I use the same case as you and NZXT X41 for cooling at the front.

I am 2 minds what do do as the x41 would mount a lot easier in the roof as an exhausting cooler for one of the gpu's.

Tue antec has a built in front fan so I cant mount it in the front of the case without destroying air flow and having it blow the wrong way

Means I would have a 120 and 140mm setup on the cards, but tbh the top card always runs hotter due to the small gap between cards on pcie slots...so could make sense and then just leave the antec where it is.....i do like its design personally and its a great cooler

Kraken G10 No:1 installed. Temps on card have dropped 15-20 degrees under load against its sister card in crossfire. VERY impressed :)
