Project: Godfrey

With the 2.120mm rad at the bottom, if you switch the orientation so that the inlet/exhaust is nearer the PSU, you can hide the length that goes to the pump behind the rad/fans, and the feed that goes to the bottom GPU is straighter, which would look a bit neater.

EDIT

Actually, it may not go that way round - what do you think?

Dat carpet!

Looks interesting though. I'm going for a 3930k (and associated motherboard and RAM) in the next few months and I'm strongly considering going for a watercooling set up. A decent heatsink is looking pretty expensive at the moment.

What do you mean about the braided cables? I could sleeve the ones coming out of the PSU, but that would be copious amounts of effort and it would also void the warranty :/

Re the rad, it's already a tight fit, no hope of getting it the other way, I've tried :p

Nice project! I've been thinking of getting that case for my first WC build.

How is it for acoustics? i see they're selling a sound dampened version of this as well - wonder if that is worth going for?

Got any tips for a newbie, things that you wished you'd known at the start that would have made the project easier?

Also I am curious about the fancy lighting I see in all these WC builds - is there a way to toggle it on and off, i.e have it on most of the time but if watching a film in blacked out room would be nice to turn off everything!

God damn your room is messy.

Nice setup though, but I think twisting the cables like that is awful.

I was just about to say the same, the twisting blue cables look awful, I suggest to hide more those cables using the holes of the motherboard tray closer to the mobo

I completely disagree, i think twisting the braided cables is a great way to show them off without them looking straggly and untidy - very original Cleee :D
