Project log: First build for my self!

The stock fans are SP120S mate and if you setup a custom curve, you can get them running dead quiet. Mine idle at 450-550rpm and load is up to 1100rpm which I still cannot hear.

You may wish to also check the warranty on painting the card, I believe it voids it.

Fantastic spec and great build. You've done well for a first timer :)

Yer I've set up a custom curve similar to yours. My h100i fan's have an annoying wurring noise at certain rpms though. Especially around 800 rpm. Think I'll replace them since its quite an annoying sound.

As for painting the tri - it would be cool to do but yer guess it will void warranty. I'll look into it! And yer I know the tri-x is the best 290 (thats whybi got it back in feb) but still colour coordination is non existent! Although I still think overall it looks cracking.

Thanks for the complement although admitibly I have built 2 other full systems before. Just not for myself haha.

Either way I still plan on adding

Two replacement fans for the h100i
Two replacement fans for front intake (replaced one already)
Braided cables
144 hz monitor (ordering next week).

Second 290. Problem is the heat though. Not sure how I'll manage that.

Back last week I had issues with airflow but changing one of the default front fans to a higher airflow one helped a lot but not sure how I'll manage two 290 without full water cooling.

One thing I would recommend is an LED strip, just to get a nice light inside the case, it really does wonders. Also whats are the temps on the 290 right now, my friend has 2 and its not too bad 80-85c.

The typically kit I recommend is out of stock right now.

YOUR BASKET
1 x NZXT CB-LED20-WT 24x White LED Sleeve - 2m £13.99
Total : £16.27 (includes shipping : £1.90).

Also build looks awesome, I really love the Motherboard.

At 30c Ambient my tri-x goes up to 60-65c. 70c after hours and hours of use.

That's with its default fan profile. Which as you probably as you know is really relaxed.
