New idea i'm working on. Cut out lightning bolts on the back of the facia.

The lightning bolts will be lit by random strobing white LED's behind and underneath the PSU cover

I've also just bought a large dipping tank, with a heater etc from a local today.
I'll post some pictures up later. Hopefully this fixes my problems and i can dip the whole case :)

Dipping tank is here. With heater, blocks and multiple other things.
Not a bad little buy. well used but well needed.
50 gallon 5ft tank

I've been doing hydro dipping for around 4 years now on an industrial scale. We do computer cases fairly regularly as well as car interior, wheels, external trims, motorcycle parts. What lacquer are you using to seal it? We use 2k lacquer so it seals and is as durable as car paint. Lets face it when you do a project like this you need to make the finish as durable as possible.

I've got 2k lacquer here also. The problem i'm having is getting the film to work properly. I've literally tried every temp between 30-45 and can't get anything large to work properly. (Doesn't stick half way through the dipping) even motherboard armours. may be the film or activator i'm using though. Hugos LTD is the company i'm using for the stuff. Whats weird is, the smaller parts work perfectly first time every time.

So after a few hours of messing around with the dipping tank, it became quickly noticeable that the lightning film was the problem.
Now dipping everything without issue using a new film.

Just wish it was lightning :(

That controller dip job look very neat, much easier I bet than trying carbon wrapping it.

Honestly it takes a few seconds to dip with carbon.
Can spend hours wrapping with a heat gun lol. Only down side is with wrapping, you can remove it if it sucks, you can't with dipping.. Requires a new paint job and start again.

Here's where i'm at as of last night

Huge thanks to my sponsor (Aqua-Computer) who sent out the kyrographics Titan X Waterblock.
Wasn't sure if they were considered competition to overclockers. however after much research, they make their own waterblocks and watercooling. So no competition.
Will edit first post with their logo.

The tiny details to take care of now.
Clean up, sand a little, little more paint.
Ahh how far we've come.. Mjolnir is almost complete!

Finally the project is completed.
