Scrap the case speaker and see if you can fit 2x120mm fans there instead?
Isn't it a good practise to have the case speaker for POST beeps etc? I could mount that anywhere I guess. 2x120mm fans will definately fit in there just had a measure. Fantastic idea hadn't even considered that, looks like I'm going to have to order some more 120mm's ;) Quietness is going to be absolutely essential now I feel especially with 6/7 fans in there.

cheers buddy =]

got it.

would i be able to swap that black plain fan for my 120mm red one?
Yeah as far as I know you can switch out the fan in it and customise it to what you want, even put in an LED to mimic that Antec nine hundred look.

Meh! Only if you are having bootup problems. Ive removed mine all together tbh. Ive had another idea though... Not 2x120mm fans, but 2x120.1 rads!! :D

Edit; Black inside, chrome outside, and black Tygon tubing for the watercooling. ;)

And... :p

Neither did I until this last rig. No better way to learn than jump in at the deep end. Watercooling really isn't that scary at all once you get going.

My dad's been encouraging me to get into it and he's not even a hardware enthusiast haha. He said it would be a good case to install some sort of alternative cooling, water, refridgaration. Are there any guides out there that can assist me in this? Although I didn't really want to spend hundreds of pounds on this project at the moment, just want to modify for air cooling I think at the current time.

hi m8, so you liked the karma bay then ;) pc speaker? never install them...99/100 times its memory timings anyway(in personal ex) :D
that space...you could cut the 2 x120 circles+ drill the screw holes, put a dual rad there and secure it from the front with a polised thermochill grill(2x120 fans pulling into the case) :D

Yeah very impressed with the idea of tha Kama bay can't wait to order. Meanwhile I'm going to start work on the case very soon. Don't really want to mod it for watercooling as I don't have any intention at the moment of going into watercooling. Just spent quite a lot of my cash on a new air cooler so that will have to last me a while. Would you suggest dual 120mm fans where that speaker is then?

2x 120mm fans there would be a good idea! I had 2 panaflo 120mm x 38mm fans in a similar position in my old server case plus another 120mm fan in the drive bay section mounted in a Kama bay!

I've added arrows to help identify the fans as the pic isn't that large! :)

Here's a pic:

hi m8,as gt has posted, but ithought you were going to remove all the front plastics and going black and chrome(i thought it would look awsome with a dual 120 grill on the front)
i cant understand why you are not going with water with as big case like that, i cant stand seeing cases with external rads, they look odd :D (no offence, just personal opinion)
i know there is some advantages of having the rad outside, but ive got mine all internal with 2x120 push /2x120 pull(scythe 1600rpm@990rpm)using the scythe fan controller*(it starts all fans at 12v then puts them at your last config ie:990rpm  :D )
as i write this my [email protected] is 31c(speedfan)with my 8800gtx in the same loop  it never goes above 36 c ,even after 5/6 hrs of cod2, which i think is vgood, seen as its silent ;)
c ya m8
