some of you may have seen a few others of my past builds

decided to do something a bit..... different with this latest project and do a community build.


basically i'm going to set a (loose) budget and combine that with what I have kicking around and what I can get out of the MM build a project based solely on ideas and recommendations gleaned from this thread.


to start with we have the remnants of Project hardon that is now gathering dust in my office since daughter child decided to go the way of apple

so as a starting point we have a Evga Hadron case, with added dust and spiders.

current spec is a Pentium K anniversary edition at 4.4ghz no current gpu and a goosed mobo with only one working ram slot.

we have £500 5 to spend members market is fair game and I want something that will be great for in the office and handle anything game wise at 1080p

I think posts #8, 9, 11, 14 and 17 should get to pick a colour for either a part, or a section of panel.

sounds like a plan actually,


so we'll go
post 8 gets to pick a theme
post 9 gets to pick colours
post 11 gets to allocate the budget out for buying parts (remember budget and mm access )
post 14 gets to scour occur/mm for a gpu
post 17 gets to pick the rest of the parts

can only see how it goes

only rule being no 1 person gets 2 of the above. this is going to be a nightmare lol
