Project "One" - Corsair 650D

my box arrived today so I have updated my first post with the contact details for the guy that made it for me

he is now making me a fish tank lid and maybe a mounting bracket so I can fit a second fan on my front rad to increase the air flow.. I'd recommend this guy to anyone who needs some kind of custom acrylic box/plate/lid made
 
Mine's just about done, can't make my mind up about shelf or box same as your's.
I'll post pics in the morning and you can give me yours thoughts or idea's etc. etc. etc. nothing like being decisive is there :D:D
 
I installed my basement/floor yesterday, again sorry about the photos I just cant get enough light... my next build will be a white room I think

I also tidied up the cables a bit and installed my fill port which isn't finished yet, just need to drill a hole in the top of the case to mount it but the snow is kind of taken over outside

I think the box at the bottom gives it a stealthy look which I like

I like the black box idea. What else is in there besides the PSU?

EDIT: Actually, I really like that idea. Looks so much tidier, and you don't even need a modular PSU! Did you make that or buy it?

I am planning on moving my res to where yours is so I can fit larger GFX card in the future and its also more visible when the side panel is on the case as I think a tube res is the best looking part of a loop other than the blocks themselves
 
stueng, sorry if I am being dim but the hose coming out the rad, where is it sitting, is it hidden up next to the radiator and then comes down by the optical bays? how did you get it to sit up there?

It's why I put on top psu I can see it better from where I sit :D and of course so can other people. Tube res has got to be the best of showing off oopps I mean showing IT off :D
 
like the look of the stealthy box.......makes it look a lot better.......

excellent job.......how about the gpu? still planning on getting that under water....

ive read your posts in the water cooling section.........so do you have the 7950 ? or thinking of it?
 
Maybe I'm crazy but aren't the rad fans blowing air in to the case? Also are you using push pull on the top rad I'm having all sorts of trouble finding a non self tapping screw that's so short in my local hardware stores!
