The XSPC res tops are a pita to bleed, there's a little tube inside the res from the inlet, problem is that the tube is a little too long. So air comes flying down the tube, then straight back into the pump flying round the loop :001_rolleyes:

Took the CPU loop out of the case to bleed it easier

Wow, that is some super dedication! Can't think how much money and time you must have spent on this, it's looking really good mate, keep it up!

Thanks for the comments so far.

One trouble I'm facing atm is the temperature of my raptors

As you can see in this picture I've got 4 stacked with no fan blowing over them

They've been getting so hot I couldn't put my hand on them

So I've rigged this up, it's not that pretty, but it will do until I can think of a better solution.

If anybody is wondering why I'm running 4 raptors btw, I'll tell you; price!

The 2nd hand value of 74GB 8MB cache raptors is silly money, so much so that I picked 3 up for £90! I already had one already that I've had for a few years and was originally only going to get another for RAID, but I thought at such little cost, why not try it out?

That's all 4 drives in a RAID 0 array; hence the reason I was concerned about temps, don't want that going down!

I'm going to try out a RAID matrix with two "slices" one 40GB for the OS and the rest in another, that means that I should have a fairly decent speed :)
