**** Update ****

Ok so I'm still trying to solve my boot issues but in the meantime I thought I'd post a shot of the new mouse I kindly got given by my wife as an early birthday present. Even in-keeping with the orange I got going on!

I'm moving house soon so I'm not sure I'll get to spray the parts I'm going to mod before I go. I'll try post some shots of the rig itself soon enough. Might be looking at getting Dave to do me some new custom braids to jazz this baby up.
 
**** Update ****

Ok so I got around to trying some spray on the fan and cpu cooler ring. However... I took a shot at some spray and the colour is off, doesn't match the vapor-x all that closely.. Not too worried, I think I've found a closer match but thought I'd show you guys how bright it is :D

Yeh ok, it's a ridiculously bad match. Buttttt spraying things is cool.

Seriously? Wow. I've got two noctuas in front doing a stern job. Currently my rad has fans pushing air through it, although im thinking about switching it to it's pulling in air and the bottom single 120 is also pulling in air. Currently only exhaust is the rear. Would you switch this to intake too?

the back fan you could run at 7v or remove it at all. (testing is your best method)

this creating postive pressure, which will push all the hot air out of the cracks of your case even pci plate holes, (i can feel a breeze between mine!)

If you work out in maths:

750D is = 2.5318ft³ (cubic feet) or 16.194277 (cubed) (w x l x h)
2x Noctua @ 100% = 160CFM (cubic feet per minute) convertred from M3/h

as you see its pushing so much air its changing the air in a few seconds :)

ive tried vast amounts of fan/s got fans from 80mm all the way to 300MM

Thanks for the tips buddie. So based on that, I should remove the bottom intake, and possibly try remove the rear exhaust? I'll try the two front intakes at 80% - currently they are around 70%

I'll give this a go and let you know how i get on. Question though, do you leave off the front panel that obstructs the intake? I sometimes wonder if it needs modding in order to help those fans intake air.

At the moment ivegot the front two intakes on 80% and the rear down to 60%, the bottom one of off. the top exhaust with the rad are around 60% and temps are:

around 30 for the cpu - gpu 1 around 65 and gpu 2 around 43. Quite suprised gpu 1 so hot right now, i know its a hot night but its not under any stress
 
interesting! I am too scared to turn my fans down lower :) At the moment playing divinity gpu 1 is around 80 in certain areas and 75 on average while cpu is like 50 - 55. Would love to lower these if possible. Ill have a play

80 is not bad, remember you got 2 cards in their.

if your scared set a gpu fan profile then change front intakes/exhuast speeds :)

i like my pc as quiet as possible but as cool as possible.

Just done hour odd of gaming
CPU max 52c i7 3770k
GPU max 65c (7990) < ive got 4 monitors plugged into this

as your h100 is restricting the escape of hot air from your gpu's try this
front fans 70-80% < up to you
the back fan at 80%
h100 what ever you want

this will keep cool area going into the case and the back fan will be removing the hot air from your gpus whilst the h100 will just be cooling the rad

it would be noiser but should cool the gpu more

the other thing different from mine is my HDD is in the 5.25" area
so no hdd cages in the way of the front of the case

Your temps are hellish good. I guess two gpus will give me an extra, well, considerable extra heat source. Yeh i did notice looking at yours that my HDD bay bracket is obstructing one of the fans, but not sure I can do a lot about that as, for now at least, i need them there.

Set front intakes to 80% (both) and then rear (80, bit noisey but interested to see if it helps) and then 60% for both fans on the rad.

just come out of a few hours gaming and now idling at 49 on gpus and cpu is 30.

Ingame got my temps down to around 75 for gpus and around 55-58 for cpu - taking the top filter off the case really helped i think. Two front intakes def need the higher speed if front panel is on, although while gaming im gona take it off because its just too obstructive.

Bottom i can get rid off as that doesnt help as with it on temps dont change. Thanks for taking the time to help me, it's definitely worth playing as already I've shaved some temps off what they were!

though i only use 1.

Hopefully it'll be ok like this, but cheers if I find it needs rethinking ill take a look at that.

Really love this case, my one gripe if anything is just that front panel. Tempted to try mod it soon to help let air get through easier. As i do prefer aesthetics of the front panel. Perhaps I could get a load of smallish holes in there to help let air travel through easier.
 
Are these AOI cpu coolers actually just not that good? It seems from reading, a decent air cooler can do a better job?

In BF4 my cpu went as high as 73, but generally sat around 60-65

Had to turn up the intakes and exhaust just to keep things nice. I'm slightly obsessive about this now!

You've also got to remember your thermal paste, this makes a difference depending on the quality of the product, same goes for the fans. Some will be better than othes, so it really depends on what you're after & how much you're willing to spend.

Example: The Noctua Industrial he's got in the rear of his case has a static pressure of 7.5mm/H2o which is nuts - but at £20 each, you'd expect them to be really good.

Yeh, dont get me wrong these industrials are great in terms of air moving power - theyare sick. But i do wonder if ill end up buying some of the other noctua range to get a quieter machine. Its a tough balance to get right.

Like you said, i prefer the look of an AOI cooler for sure. I end up taking my front panel off while gaming to let those two noctuas really push air through the case nicely but ive found the cpu still gets to around 73 at its highest, although usually i can keep it around 66.

To me hitting 73 was not ideal, a little on the high side but might of had a fan setting wrong. I am tempted to try move the rad fans to intake so they are getting fresh clean air and not air potentially warmed slightly by my 290s and see if my cpu temps are better ingame.

One of the more frustrating aspects of this setup currently is that the noctua require more voltage than my general profile gives them in order to going on boot up. So i have to manually via the fan controller, change them to 100% then switch back to auto and let them run at 60% for general use, as this is an acceptable noise level compared to gaming when the front comes off and they get set to 80% and things get loud :D

Yeh I can see why 50% is good :D

I think it might be the industrials that just dont like the lower voltages for starting at. Which means i might swap them out at some point as it's quite annoying.

Do you think that changing my top rad to intake would help or hinder me - or is it a case of just trying. By the way, what model's are those in front of yours smogsy?

see here, i go orignal (aka old style colour but i like it shows their noctuas!

What you need to know:
Redux - are last years tech with a few features shaved off - thats why they are cheaper
Industrial - push loads of air, but don't generally care about noise to much (industrial & all) & have Very long lasting Qaulity
Original - Push slightly less air but noise is way way lower (min, 24.6 dB ) vs 31.5 dB(A) still have Good last qaulity (had mine for 5 years?) these comes with voltagge adapters too (dont think industrials do?)


mine are running at 50% so they are running about 18db (from their spec sheet)

Thanks bud - Yeh mine didn't come with an adaptor. I might try some of these soonish just to see how much better the noise level is. Don't get me wrong, i love these, they do the job for sure, but at the cost of hearing anything :D

I do have a slight fan fetish so any excuse to buy more. :eek:
 
Decided to take some shots to show off the LEDs and the finished look. Still the odd thing I need to do. The braids could be better, im on that. Also the fan ring colorings, although hard to see here, need re spraying, to better match the vapor-x.
