Thats a cracking transformation, excellent work on your PC as it looks like it was well worth it

Just wondering, is there anything special you need or anything to be aware of when drilling out rivets and can you replace them with screws etc ?

I've done it a couple of times, make sure you don't go through another panel! You could use some self taping screws but it would look pretty awful, I used rivets when putting it back

Thanks yep its pretty easy to drill out rivets, trick is, if they start spinning with the drill bit, tilt the drill over slightly. just don't push too hard.
a cheap rivet kit is only £10-15 and they look much better than screws.

Thanks for that mate, I'm looking to pass my HAF X on to my son after building a new rig in the new year. This looks very sweet, so much more visibility of internals!

happy days, Coolermaster did make an amazing line of cases, mine is probably over 5 years old now and all it takes is a lick of paint (ok and maybe a new side window) to make it look brand new.
