This will just be a small and quick log(hopefully), to asseemble the computer and make a few things.
The point with the build is to keep everything black/white, with a few touches of blue.

Without further ado, the components:

CPU: i5-4670k
Motherboard: ASRock Z97M-Pro4
RAM: ADATA XPG 4x4GB
Cooler: Noctua ND14
GPU: EVGA GTX 780
SSD: Transcend SSD370S, 128 & 258GB
PSU: Corsair RM550
Case: Phanteks Evolv(mATX)

As said, the plan is to keep most things black or white. To accomplish this, I plan to paint the GPU shroud either black or white, as I happen to have a spare shroud, I’ll do both and see what fits best.

The Noctua cooler will most likely also see a light black spray happen to it, to make it fit in, and the fans will be trashed for the Thermalright counterpart, the TY147, and run with just the single fan.

The SSDs will be mounted at the bottom, below the motherboard, and if all goes well, they will be sitting on top of LED lit plexiglass, which should help illuminate the entire case, as the window is rather tinted.

The best case I've worked with. It just screams quality. I love how the sides detach. The bundle is also pretty nice, i particularly like the plastic box :D

Such a beast. Shame it is not the PWM version; but the Thermalright fan that replace them, is, so it's even quieter.

Picked first of all for the looks, and it was quite cheap. Bought it refurbished from ASRock, but were in pretty good condition and working. A few gripes with it, though. Like, the HD Audio connector is placed above the PCIE lane, combined with the Evolves short Front Audio connector, it is bound to cause troubles..

ADATA XPG:

Quite good looking RAM i reckon. Don't know much about ADATA really..

Transcend SSDs:

Chose the alu frame rather than their tacky black plastic ones. Decent SSDs, but nothing that will blow your mind :)

I admit i cheated a bit on this one. I painted it beforehand. It was actually black at first, but decided to sand it down and paint it white instead. Looks better in my opinion. Don't be fooled by the "Titan" on the cooler, it is a 780 ;)

Lovely PSU. Still awaiting an all black/white label to replace the yellow one, but i'm afraid it wont show up before it's complete.

That's all for today. This will be a quick one, so i expect to complete it tomorrow.

So I finished it all today.

CPU and RAM installed. Looking pretty :)

Noctua mounted, with slight problems. For whatever reason, ASRock put the heatsink too close to the CPU socket, so it required a bit force to align the Noctua. Added the lovely Thermalright TY-147 aswell. Decided not to paint the cooler since it was so nice and shiny.

As i had hoped for this was a quick build without any major problems. :D

I will probably add a few pictures in the dark, once that's possible ;)

Did you mod the lighting in the GPU cooler also?
Yes, the GEFORE logo is sanded down. Underneath the green stuff, it's white :)

nice and clean build.
Thanks :D

That is a great example of how to put together a simple, clean and effect build togther.
Yup, i was so lucky that the case and PSU was on sale 50% off, so it was a really easy(and cheap) decision to make. I like the outcome aswell :)

Turned out great, is there any particular reason you didn't make the plexi under the ssd's all one piece?

Lovely air build though, I like to see air builds like this just shows they can look good to.

Actually i didn't expect they had to be next to eachother before the case arrived. But frankly, the case and window in particular, was smaller than i expected, so looking back, a solid piece would've been much better. The plexi was ordered beforehand aswell, so they were already lasercut :(

Really nice build, especially like the SSD mounting!
Thank you!
Lovely case, and the white shroud for the GFX cards looks immense! Absolutely love the look of that.
Thank you I quite like it aswell, i was not certain white would work, but i think it turned out quite good :)

very nice man the only thing that get me is why is the sdd on there own peaces of plexiglas instead of one for both

I wrote earlier, that the plexi was ordered before i got the case, first then i realised that the bottom of the compartment is rather restricted by screws towards the front of the case, so i could not seperate them as i wanted. A single piece would have been better, but that must wait for a future build :)
