Project: TJ uh-oh

Right update time again :) Without going into detail, sometimes come up which cuts a deadline of mine by 4 days so effectively had to bring having this rig running again forward 4 days too. So a bit of a rush job it is now complete....sort of. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the actual build process due to the time constraints.

The problems from above
Problem 1 (PSU) I have left it sitting in the bottom of the case. It isn't perfect but the fan does not appear to be creating any vibrating so it looks like it will be ok.
Problem 2 (Pump fouling 24 pin) As I mused above, the pump has been moved forward. Not perfect as it doesn't create the nice clean lines I was going for but my choice was made long ago for the pump to be in the main section so it was the only solution.
Problem 3 (Running tubing for cpu block) This was sorted in the end with a rotary extender and a 90 degree fitting which means then that it was inline
Problem 4 (SATA cables not fitting) I was going to swap the braid from the straight ended sata to the straight / 90 degree ended ones. However having to do a quick build up was a blessing in disguise as the 90 ended ones wont fit in the blu ray or ssd I only need to go and transfer braid on 3 sata cables.

Front view showing all the drive bays in use and the sorted mesh covers for the hdd rack in the drive bays. Now it is all together with the other drive bays full, they do blend reasonably well I think.

Side shot, as you can see I got the all watercooling up and running. Took about 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 litres of water to fill up though.

For those of you with keen eyes will notice there is still some problems with this picture which is covered in my to do list.

So my list of things to do
- Take off the fans one by one and paint blue
- Take out sata cables and braid them
- Extend my front panel connector, the power/reset/hdd light can reach but only if I don't go behind the motherboard tray and the usb/audio just don't reach at all. The usb and switches/led I know how I am going to do that, the sound one it a bit more tricky though (and I may not actually do it as I so rarely use the front panel jacks)
- Braid the sata power cable - I still need to add a plug to this too for the ssd
- I have a blue led strip which I want to fit but need to order and fit a switch to it also. Depending on how it looks I might fit a second as they are not very long.
- Braid the fan splitter cables you can see tucked at the end of the rads

Once I have got that list of things done then Project TJ uh-oh will be complete. Thank you for the support and advice so far, I will try to get this finished as soon as possible and take some proper pictures of it all.

Have managed to do some very small things on this since that update, being back at work sucks for pc modding lol.

personally, I would just paint one more of the fans, the last one on the right as that looks pretty nice

I see where you are coming from but I am working on everything being black white or blue :) I did think halfway through I should have just used yellow in the colour scheme and then I wouldn't of needed to paint the fans.

Nice tube routing! Are the 90deg joints affecting your flow rates much?

I think that many is affecting my flow rates, however I am still using the d5 on 2 so could up it a bit to counteract the restriction but my temps are better than before (shocker lol) so I don't think any restriction is being detrimental.

Excuse me sir, I think you will find that it is an SSD not a HDD :P lol, it is now in the case. I had it on top because I needed to add another sata power connector to the lead to be able to plug them all in.

So much has gone on I haven't had much time to use the pc nevermind finish building to how I want :( It is actually worse state than those pictures now lol, broke my fan controller so got wires everywhere and found with the side on my motherboard heatsinks were getting too hot for my liking so have the side off and a spare fan sat on the midplate now. Though picked up 2 80mm fans for the back but to cut the holes I need to take it apart again. Also weather is rubbish for painting in so probably sometime in spring I will take it all apart cut the holes, paint the fans and finish it properly, maybe even upgrade gpu too while I am at it.
