And this is my first build log.

On the back panel will be a triple rad.;)

Very rough cut out, will dremil to exact shape later. Next to the cut out will be a triple rad. It looks scratched but it's not promise.

You can tell which one is the old one needs a really good clean inside/out..

Any ideas/comments will be welcome.

Will do more this weekend when Holesaw comes.

Two more pic's so you can see where the rads are going.

These are old fans and won't be used too loud.

Nice I was checking out some of TJ Harlows work in youtube yesterday.
There was a Lian-Li P80B which had been powdercoated black with accent pieces done in a "firetruck" red. It looked brilliant.

Should work well with the 58XX's mostly being blakc and red :)

There's a lot of space for one about 14" of room ;)

Small update sorted out drive bay, and a rough cut out of fan holes.

Here's a pic of the vandal switch's that will be used. Also i was thinking instead of red going black and the grey on the G15 keyboard.

Thanks for comments.:)

update :)

This is what i'll be using to attach the front/top and back panels, if like me you hate pop rivets this stuff is ideal for the purpose.

The front panel all stuck down.

The side panels had this plastic grill on them.

Ready made windows :D. Holes have been filled and drying going to sand tomorrow.

Thanks for comments and support ;)

For the complete doughnut.... what are your donor cases for this build?

Sorry did not take pic's of cases but found the boxes..

What are those orange/black fans? I'm doing an orange/black build and have my spare Noctuas pencilled in right now. Hate the pink/brown colours though!

Nice idea btw, will be checking progress...

They are from my mozart tx thermaltake case, they are loud as a hoover though..

Looks good so far, always nice seeing ideas come to fruition.
+subbed

Was thinking about it for a couple of months, then last week i started it.

I will be going panther black and red for the colors

thanks for all comments:cool:

***update***

Fan Grills came today and some fittings, sanded the side panel and fitted.

Back panel & roof panel still too do.

I'm thinking about putting 2 120 or 140mm fans above the motherboard what you think?

Thanks for all the support once again:)

I'm hoping to have zero cables visible when i do the inside of the case. The fan grills will be mettalic red and the main body of the case will be panther black. And the inside will be met red/ panther black.

This is to give you some idea of what i intend to do. The cardboard is an example of the casings i want to make for the psu/rads and harddrive rack. And where the res/dvd rom will be. They will be metalic red, the rad cover will have a custom grill and the psu will have the fan facing down.

Sorry for the slow progress, but its been to cold to spray with primer outside. Will upload more pic's when i take some tomorrow..

Thanks mate :)

The motherboard is a crappy p5n-t deluxe which has blown the ram slots don't work, so i think the northbridge has blown.

***update***

Managed to paint the fan grills, case nearly ready for primer:D. Decided to go singal red.

Hopefully i will make faster progress with the children back to school, but the weather doesn't help with spraying.

****update****

Got one of the side panels painted the other one is nearly ready bit more sanding. The rads all mask up ready for primer, they are going to be red same as the fan grills.

Notice the white dot on the painted panel, the wife hit it of the rad by accident

Leaving to harden for a day or so then final sand with 1500grit then final layer of paint. I'm using cheap black paint for the base coat the panther met black for the final coats.

can't decide on smoke/clear or red windows? any help/ideas?

Thanks again for all comments made.. :D

Looking v nice. Hows the wife following her mishap? i bet by female logic it was somehow actually your fault!!

Yep she said stupid place to put them, but i told her they where there just 5 mins beforehand.

I'll go with smoked windows..
