Y-Flow

Two fan cooling with a non-traditional twist - they are both exhaust.
Should have this finished tonight (after doing two days of fan tests)

Start with a simple case mod - add a fan hole.

Measure

Dremel to start - much harder cutting steel that aluminum

Hacksaw time

Make sure your hacksaw has a rotating blade, makes life much easier

Grind down the extra metal

Finishing touches to remove any sharp edges

Remove all the metal filing - don't want any shorts

Now to invert the case...

As the HR-03 is so close to the case I needed another cut.
The fan is located half in and half out of the case.

No fixing this time the rubber corners of the NoiseBlocker are holding it in place.
No metal to fan frame contact.
Ran FurMark again and topped out at 59c - happy with that

Hole cut for fan - about 1mm oversized on all sides (corners square so the rubber grips)

Small cut for the fan wires

Edge - no contact except corners

Located in base

Side on - six heatpipe holes added

Side view - could do with a re-spray, but it's ok untill slice form is finished.
