Cable braiding looks ace! I like how it matches the colour scheme of the mobo. What mouse and keyboard is that?

I have given up on the PCI cable , As i ruined two lots , and did not want to ruin anymore which would have meant having to go buy some more and not being able to use my pooter again for a while , will try again soon

This it where i am upto , still got more braiding to do , and would love to change the faceplate of the radeon to blue or white , but thats way beyond me , if it all possible , i will be getting a design cut out of the side panel in the future , I will update as and when , but for now anyone got any suggestions for improvement?

Regards

Could search around for HTR (High Temperature Resistant) labels and just cut them to fit to stick onto the graphics card. Should be easy to find white ones anyway.

Really like the braided power cable!

may i ask how did you exactly ruin the pci cables

I used the correct tools , got my pins down the side , but they were so tough to get out , and i also broke off the little pieces that stop it from coming out , so now the pins go back in , but come out way to easily

Looking beautiful - inspires me to braid the spaghetti in my system :)
I've always wondered how people manage to route their H50 pipes in more ways than one! Could never get the bloody things to route any other way than what they are now.

Still got more braiding to complete , and will be looking to replace the stock fans with some blue and white fans , if i can find the right type to fit my theme. will aim to complete next month , i am pretty time restricted this month

Yeah , I know , picked up for a tenner , just to try out , now the system is built , been playing a lot games , Crysis , BC2 , MW2, RE5 all at full eye candy , i am soooo impressed with it , totally shadows my 360 elite!! the 5850 is an awesome card , playing everything i throw at it , may go cross fire when crysis 2 comes out cos no doubt that game will be ahead of ourselfs like the original when it first got released , had to dust off the the original as i have never been able to play it til now :)

I know this pain too when I was doing the PCI cables - it was impossible to pop the cables back into fitting and I ruined one of my PCI power cables doing it. I ended up buying a pair of wire strippers and just using them to clear a small area of covering on each cable. I didn't actually remove any of the covering, just pushed it to each side - seemed to do the trick!
