I pposted this in the montior forum but there were no answers, so i hope i'm not breaking the rules by posting here as well.

I know OcUK doesn't sell these but does anyone know of a good model projector with a budget of £500 - £600.

Its for work use where it will be transproted to different sites and used for training/meetings so needs to work in a varity of lighting settings.

Its a minefield with this type of stuff but could anyone offer suggestions?

optoma hd 600x, comes with a carry on case, but has the dreaded rainbow effect if your eyes are sensitive. Goes for between 440-500pds.

Whats the projector going to be used for? Graphs and power points or something like Video playback and things that might require more detail?

The one my uncle has in his home office ( he has meetings there if your wondering xD ) is this i think
Acer X1230PK Professional HD Projector ( about 350 pounds) which seems to be an alright budget one with 720p and the pictures not half bad, you can get allot better probably if you look around and i would guess the top end of your budget would get you a Full HD one.

Then buy a travel case designed for the one you buy, theyre pretty common. You can also get tiny little business projectors but the right ups arent always great.
