Ok, id like to buy a projector.

I just saw the one on ocuk, but im after something with a "nicer" resolution

would like to spend under £200 ideally, would it be possible to get something good for this?

will be used for gaming and movies mostly

There are plenty out there (a bit of googleing should get you going)

Were just not supposed to put up links to competetors

Side note projects are a really good laugh for gaming, we borrowed one at uni for a society meeting and "couldn't" give it back till the next day... It worked so well with my ps2 and could do my laptops resolution no problem (1280x800). My guess is the SU didnt pay more than £200 for one so it should be easy to find one out there

No.

Minimum I'd consider would be something like an Infocus X6... but that is very cheap and 4:3 ratio with a resolution of 800 x 600. Not particularly good for HD stuff, but will be OK for gaming. DVDs will be OK, but then you really want a projector with a widescreen 16:9 resolution.

A second hand Panasonic PTAE100/200 would offer this, but then you run the risk of problems with bulbs and all the rest of it.

<£200 wont fetch you a decent projector unfortunately :(

You should look into DIY LCD/OHP projectors, we made one, and it cost a total of £25 :P

Not bad for 10ft futurama :D
