PROLIMATECH SUPER-MEGA CPU COOLERS HERE NOW!

Used one a couple of weeks ago for a custom build for a guy can clock even without cooling although I fitted 2 fans push pull but to be honest you could get away with no fans.
Extremely good product glad OC has the on order now

Actully would one the tech mind doing a quick test and see how they fair passive on a i7( a 20 min test if temps allow would be great), was just about to buy venom for my new i7 chip but thought if i could use this passive it worth extra ££

Oh this thing is beautiful!

I'm surprised and somewhat confused as to why no-one is selling twin-pack fans for coolers like this, take two fans, splice the cables into one header, braid... Perfect! Would be a good seller I'm sure (wink, wink).

it wont run an i7 passive
nothing will

You might want to check out the Thermalright HR02...

Wouldn't advise you overclock but it will cool an i7 (and shockingly well) 'kind of' passively.

EDIT actually checking out the reviews link on Thermalrights page seems you can overclock with it, and you can always attach a fan directly to it, although that's not the point i was trying to make.

I would have thought there is no way any cooler can handle a i7 passively and have what i would call acceptable temps

Ive got one on the way, when it arrives ill probably post up a comparison with my current lapped TRUE black.

rjk, did you use the 70Ib rated black screws on the bracket or the standard silver ones, and if so is it neccesary to use the black ones due to the coolers weight. Thanks in advance.

Wouldn't have thought it necessary to use them but 'should' knock a few degrees off as it's basically Prolimatech's take on the pressure bracket that the Thermalright venomous-x and their newer coolers come with.
