Promise Supertrak EX16350 RAID

Hi Guys

Does any one know if this controller is going to work with 2TB drives? The only information I can find says 750GB is the limit, however I have one working with 1TB drives currently without problem. Don't really want to buy a heap of new drives to find out that they won't work.

I can't see any reason it shouldn't but better safe than sorry.

I wrote to Promise to ask this same question, they responded that they did not know, but I could try the drives and see. So I did, they work fine, 16 x 2TB Drives in Raid 6 gives 25.4TB of formated storage.
