Proposed 2020 Build...........Thoughts

Looking to purchase the following to replace my existing 2013 build which is shown below the following.
All other parts will be using existing to keep costs within budget
Main use will be desktop workstation and video editing only (probably little gaming)
Main thoughts regarding motherboard as this took longest thought process to decide on.

Cheaper still if you don't need wifi.

Is 32gb ram overkill ? should I go with 16 gb?

Favourable pricing for motherboard. Reason why I kept away from B550 and X570 was pricing and tech I wouldn't use or benefit from

Alpenfohn Brocken Eco Advanced is little beefier cooler for £20.

For video editing would definitely recommend TLC drive like WD Blue SN550 instead of QLC Flash drive.
QLC drives are simply slower at writing than 10 year old HDD after running out of cache.

At the price you might as well go 32 gig

Get a better cooler. A Scythe Fuma, Dark Rock Pro, or Noctua DH14 or 15.

DDR4-3600 is the sweet spot and has productivity benefits.

B450 or B550 Tomahawk. With regards to the B550 you should factor in the better support for Ryzen 5000 CPUs. Perhaps you'll upgrade to a 5900 in a year or two?
