yes i did look at the dell, but that is a little too much for me ;) the ultrasharp series is as a whole.

And i was thinking the same thing with Nvidia in relation to the programs that make use of cuda. But even then, its all done to the price. I will have to find a balance and compromise somewhere


thanks bru for the build suggestion. I wasn't being smitten. I was just saying its one of the few cases that isn't all flash and lights and things that don't apeal to me. If i could get it without the window i would... AND i acknowledged the price was huge in relation to my budget.


Thanks for help with harddrive choice, i can't believe i overlooked the spin point.

as for the mobo, i am yet to decide :( I can buy the build in too parts, and the higher cost wont damage me too much (i have a small screen and a HD4650 to use till i get payed next month. Although these msi boards that have been suggested don't seem that bad. I will look into them tomorrow and friday and see what i can dig up in terms of benchmark tests.

The case maybe a bit to big to feed the 8pin ATX connection behind the motherboard tray, up the back and into the top of the motherboard next to the CPU socket.
