Anyone else a fan of this ham?

I once bought some at tesco that had it cheap. It was thicker than what i buy now and it was very tough to chew that one time. But it tasted delish. Since then i have bought a few packs now and again the last few weeks and honestly its delish and i duno if i wana go back to ham on the bone type hams now. For about 1.60 you get about 80g or so. So i buy 2 packs generally so thats what er roughly 5 slices per pack maybe 6. Its thinner these packs compared to my first try of em.

Usually i hate the fat on ham etc but on this Prosciutto stuff it tastes nice with the ham tho if i had it on its own the fat id not eat it lol but together with the ham its nice if u know what i mean.

Now i just have to find out where to get it in a decent weight for the best price lol as i go through it so quick. I usually like the slices on its own as a snack tho im trying not to as it goes too quick that way but man im only human lol. Last week i got some of this seeded warburton small loaf and thought id try a slice in there for a sarny and the bread with this ham goes together so nice. I have started buying the bread just for the ham and not bothered with my usual warburton toastie/thick breads i usually enjoy.

So anyone else like this stuff, if so where do you get it from and how much. Wana see if i can get more slices for not much more lol.

Should have had a look before Christmas everywhere seemed to have deals on the big whole hams.

You can buy it on the deli counter at tesco.

It's not top quality. But it's cheaper than the packs, and you can ask them to slice it super thin.

It's a pain to separate the slices though.

That'll be store specific. You're in Cambridge he's in the northeast. It's not at my big tesco. I've got turkey breast and sausage rolls to choose from!

We have a giant tesco that opened up here last year and they have a deli counter which is where i get the prepacked ham from that they do that day i presume.

Find a small italian deli - Southern italian delis will generally have cured meats much cheaper than a supermarket.

North italian delis are costly but the food quality is always impeccable, I wouldn't say expensive because the cost is justified, but you'll pay a lot in those stores.

You're looking for the former unless you want to try some food which makes most supposedly food seem like crap by comparison.

If I want cheap meats I go round to where all the Italian immigrants live in the rough part of town.
