Protecting/encrypting DVD's

Is there a way of protecting or encrypting data DVD's easily, I have quite a few to do and want something secure but simple.

make a 7z file with a good password on it, you can save it as an exe (if you don't use any compression on it it'll extract faster) so all the user has to do is double click the exe, type in password and choose an output folder. (could put an autorun file on there so it opens the exe up for them)
