Evening Folks!

I have a file server with some folder shares that I've mapped as network drives. I've created a separate user account with change permissions for the shares with a stupidly complex password so there's no danger of anyone on the inside of my network getting in.
My concern is that someone on the outside of my network hacking in to my server. Its also running two very small websites and a mail server. I've got Kaspersky 6 installed and I'm behind a router. Only ports 80, 21, 25, 110 and 143 are forwarded to the server.

Are my folder shares protected enough or do I need to invest in a 3rd party app?

you seem a bit paranoid to be honest, what you done should be more than enough :)
