If you grow them in terracotta pots then spray WD40 over the terracotta to stop slugs getting up the side.

Perhaps you could find a portal gun, set up a loop so anything that goes near gets stuck in the loop for all eternity?

That will teach the pesky buggers for stealing your strawberries.

Thanks for all the outrageous suggestions but I kept it simple with two nets, bamboo sticks an CDs. Here is how it looked

Mine are kept in a mini green house, they seem to grow at ridiculous rates in there, very humid however.
