Just having this now and I am amazed at the taste.

I am using PHD pharma whey protein (Chocolate), water, and 50g's of mixed crushed nuts.. I thought I'd save time and frow them together after crushing the nuts up into smaller pieces..

And wow the taste is fantastic.

Morba, does the peanut butter not just clump together? I'd love to try it you see, as I ****ing love peanut butter!!

Blend that bad boy up and the pb will just thicken and flavour the shake.
I've been having some chocolate whey and pb quite often over the last few weeks before bed, only problem being the amount of water meant I kept waking up needing to pee so now I take a spoon of pb put it in a bowl blast it in the microwave for 10secs to soften it add my scoop of whey a little bit of water and mix it into a paste.
Its like warm melted snickers :D

I too have discovered the joys of this, i have a multi seed pack from h&b contains flax, brazil and many others, tastes lovely and great if you're on keto helps keep those pangs at bay.

PB is awesome for a quick snack!! Just be careful as it is pretty high in fat. Not tried mixed nuts in a shake before, will have to give that a whirl :)

I'm doing a dirty bulk at the moment and going thru a jar of peanut butter a day almost. Most of the time I just sit at my desk and eat it with a spoon. Crunchy kind mind ;)

It's a great addition to shakes with a banana as pointed out. But beware per 100g about half of that is fat!

230g+ (per pot) of peanut butter a day . The only thing that would bulk is my waistline :(

Im trying keto out so I'm kinda happy of these nutty additions to protein shakes, reading into it and all the possibilities makes my mouth water. As of tomorrow I will try this peanut butter, banana and protein shake. Just gone out and bought a kilo of mixed nuts for £5, not too bad I don't think £5 for potentially 20 lil snacky meals.

If you're trying to go the keto route you wont be able to eat bananas. Also peanut butter has ~10g of carbs per 100g if I recall correctly.

Ahh I've already thought of this and im trying to adopt a cyclical(sp?) Ketosis diet. I don't think I could handle a full Ketosis diet, so im keeping carbs below 30grams at the moment, and saturday evening and sunday I can eat more carbs.

my general bulk shake as beakfast in the mornings for years has been 2 sccops whey, 3-4 scoops oats and 40-50g peanut butter...tastes great and about 900 cals. Great start to the day first thing.
