Protein shakes

Im not saying its the shakes alone:)

I can spend half a day swinging 14 pound sledge hammers occasionally and anything i even go to pick up is bloody heavy and im up and down laders, long ramps and 6-7 foot high rock faces all day long:p


Ive been watching my weight and my body shape and strengh fo ages and ive been gaining much more since drinking the shakes then before.
I dont just really on them either though, i do eat quite healthy and have quite a bit of turkey, chicken and steak for tea most nights and eat a fair bit of hight protien foods along with lots of veges.

But from my perspective i have noticed im developing muscle and strengh that little bit more quicker now then i was with out the extra boost i get from the shakes.

If that is the case then its probably more the fact you are having a whole 250kcal more a day, which tbh, even over a month, isnt that much. especially when you apparently have such a demanding day.
if anything, you are probebly dropping body fat, so it looks like the muscles are growing, as to build muscle you need to put your muscle under tension. doing the same thing day in day out with the same weight will not build muscle ;]
 
Its not always the same thing day in and day out though.

You never know when something is going to brake that will need fixing or replacing.

Somethings you do is likea mini work out all on its own!
