Prototype pc vs ps3?

the bold part. Why would prototype on xbox360 look better in a bigger screen? When the pc version supports higher resolutions which make a huge difference in big screens.

Ah, so I was right. You should've gone with adamknox's response :p

Clearly the poster was assuming that it was unlikely that you'd have your PC hooked up to a 40"+ LCD TV (which some people do, I admit) and as you need to play it with a joypad for optimal play it could be argued that a 40" TV is going to be more comfortable than a 24" monitor.

Its fantastic on the PC, super high FPS and much clearer graphics adds to the fast paced experiance, I expected this game to be a pants console port but I played it all the way through and fancy playing it again at some point, hoping for a sequel too. Great game

its stupid to assume that people will prefer to play a game in an inferior way in an inferior system when all that you need is a cable. tons of people (including myself) have their pc/htpc connected to their tv/projector.

Indeed...I have a htpc hooked up to my tv too. It's not really that crazy an assumption though - the majority of people will assume console = tv and pc = monitor..because that's what the majority of people have.

I haven't played the console versions, but thoroughly enjoyed the PC version and recommend it (at a budget price now, of course!). The controls were much easier using the Xbox controller than keyboard, so this is the only non-driving game I use the controller for.

The only annoyance for me on the game is when I set up 3-screen Eyefinity on my PC. It wouldn't let me select 5760x1080 as it appears the list of resolutions is hard coded into the menu! A quick search showed up a thread on the Widescreen Gaming Forum about it - you can amend one background file to remove your currently selected resolution option, as the game can't find it it just runs at your desktop resolution (5760x1080!). The game then works and displays beautifully, so the only reason it doesn't work on 3 screens out of the box is laziness on the menu coder's part.

Anyway, my point is that the game is blatantly a console game that has been ported over and it definitely shows around the controls and options. But given the ability for PCs to play at higher resolutions and that PC games tend to be newer brand new than console ones, I'd have to vote for getting it on PC.

Surprised so many people say they preferred using a controller for this. I tried both and gave each an equal chance and the keyboard and mouse were far far better for this game.
