Prototype... How do you really feel about this game?

Honestly I enjoyed it for the first few hours but now the game play is just repetitive!

I waited along time for this, im disapointed!

well i finished it, didin't bother much with side missions too boring, some parts were too hard imo.
while i did enjoy playing, it doesn't hold any replay value for me.

They'll become repetitive if you make them repetitive. Use your imagination people. You've got a whole world to play with...play with it, don't just sprint through the missions.

lol. That sounds so ridiculous. What else can be done once you've done everything the game has limited you to? If its not in the game, you can't do it.

I'm talking about free-roam games in general. The people that play mission after mission after mission until they've completed it in 2 sessions and don't bother exploring any areas, finding secrets, finding fun mini-games and making up their own games are missing the point and should stick to their linear shooters.

Admittedly Prototype isn't the best example for this as it's a fairly limited & small chaotic cityscape from start to finish. :)

There aren't any funny secrets or cool side missions in Prototype though, it's go here and kill those guys or wait while these guys come and try to kill you, ok there's one or two freerunning missions but that's it.

When it comes to most other freeroam games i can see where you're coming from though.

The games carnage. Repetitive carnage. It was easy to see before it came out that it wasnt going to be massively in depth but in short stints its still pretty damn cool.

Very true. The game did what it set out to do very well; kick the crap out of stuff. It doesn't do much else, but it does do that well.
