Received an email this morning.

This email confirms that your Sony Entertainment Network sign-in ID (Email address) has been changed successfully.

If you did not change your sign-in ID...

This email has been sent to you because the sign-in ID (Email address) for the relevant Sony Entertainment Network account has been changed. If you did not change your sign-in ID, please contact Customer Support at the following address:

I've not changed nothing,I hardly use my PS4 these days..it gives you an email address to contact if you didn't change nothing but im unsure if its a fake email address which they want you to contact to hand over details.

And Playstation have no live support..about bloody right.

Just wondering if anyone elses accounts have been compromised at all?

What the address they give to contact them with?

http://sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/support

Its probably legit,But ive contacted Sony support directly via their website just to be sure,Luckily if my account has been compromised they wont be able to buy anything with it because, well theres no funds on the card linked to that account. :)

2 step authentication here so I would have seen a text message if anything changed.

Yup,definitely going to get that set up when i get access to my account back,Like i said i hardly use my PS4 but still.

It's a phising email, that domain is registered to Registrar: MARKMONITOR INC. (i dont think sony use them)

Your account is probably fine, but still set up 2FA (even if it is a PITA)

I've had my account taken before and my 'Primary PS4' changed to a random PS4 somewhere in the world!

Luckily I managed to get my account back and the introduction of 2-step about a week after that became an absolute necessity.

Were you hacked ?

According to the lovely Aussie lady on the phone, the email address had been changed,So yes..they had managed to get in,change my email and password,But they had not done any transactions..(which i knew anyway)

She removed the email address the "hacker" had put there,re-instated mine and then i put in a strong password and that 2 stage verification so everything should be okay now.
