Ps Spartacus

Where are you even getting Sony has any inclination to do that, Jim Ryan has shown zero interest in backwards compatibility beyond what they have now.

There’s a few posts online. Again Reddit, pushsquare among others. Couple of YouTubers I follow are like me reporting that this could be a true.

I’m just posting it here as I’m excited that there could be some small possibility that there is some truth in it.

I really don’t see what I’m doing wrong here. Yes there’s a chance it’s complete bs but no harm in discussing it surely.

Sony are working on PS3 emulation. Might not be too long before we can play PS3 games on ps5 after all.

I don't think they'll be working on it much, more likely they'll just wait until a sufficiently good open source emulator is created by the community and use that, like they did with the PlayStation Classic.

Ah good point, I didn't spot that they were streaming PSP games too, I thought you meant games on the Vita itself. I assume then it's because the PSP controls can be easily emulated on a controller whereas perhaps the Vita can't, given it had some additional input options I think.

I thought that as well with the rear touch pad etc but then remembered that they had the VitaTV that worked with a DS4 controller so i would have thought that it would easily be able to port those games over to a playable format on Plus.
