Is it possible to download PS1 titles for the PS3 today?

Nope, still no PS1 games on the UK store.

It is possible since the latest firmware update so it's just a matter of waiting for the titles to appear.

supposed to be 11 PS1 PS3 games including Res evil and tekken2 in the hong kong store today aswell as the NGS demo not sure when they will be on there though.
Just wondering are the PS1 downloads multi region ie can us/japan ones work on a uk machine?

How do you make foreign accounts anyway? I've tried making new user accounts but it doesnt seem tow ork.

Create a new profile and select whichever location it is you want to use when asked, the main two being Japan and America. You also need a valid address to enter. Obviously it doesn't have to be valid in terms of being your address, but it does have to actually exist otherwise it wont be accepted.

Yes, that's how they are actually intended to be used in the first place.

It may not even matter if any games are added anyway.

According to the Unclegamer podcast ep27, the update doesn't even work anyway and the games still don't work on the PS3.

Apparently this should be fixed sometime in May, I would hope we have some games by that time.
