PS1 games on the PS3/PSP

Is the only way to play the downloadable PS1 games on your PSP, through RemotePlay?

Cos though its good, its not perfect.. There's the occasional lag in response, whne playing games like R-Type you need pinpoint precision, otherwise you are dead..

Couldn't see a way to download the game directly from the PSP..

Rather than spend some time researching it on the net, i thought I'd ask on here first.

I'm guessing no, but ya never know !

You can download PS1 games from the YourPSP website very easily. Very cheap as well.

Not at home at the mo' so I can't try, so you are saying use the PSP browser to goto https://store.playstation.com then login using my PSN ID and download and install the game on the PSP?

Not sure about browsing there on your PSP browser, but I know you can browse there on your computer, pay for a game and then put it on your PSP through the USB cable.

I THINK that's how it works, I've never bought any PS1 games, but I'm assuming it works in a similar way to PSP demos.

Just checked over how it all works, but now I'm unsure :confused:

I'm pretty sure you can get a game and play it through your PSP without RemotePlay, but I'm unsure how it's installed or anything.

Connect the PSP to your PS3 by USB, then goto the PS1 game you want to install to it on the PS3 XMB, press Triangle and click copy - it will then install the PS1 game to your PSP's memory stick.
