Glad you've got the old PS2 out. My PS3 and PC are in the loft at the moment because they just can't compare to the PS2 for RPG's.

Know its been mentioned but you cant have too many endorsements, But Grandia II absolutely awesome, But it took me a good while to find when it was new, cant imagine how hard it may be to find now.

Theres also Star Ocean: Till The End of Time, good few hundred hours worth of game right there.

Or if you have a ps3 you can get Suikoden (1) on the American Network Store for around $5. I much prefer two though, just keeping my fingers crossed for them to release that one too.

I've got Grandia II on PC

. Found it ages ago for like £2 on a website.

a lot of the games have been mentioned already. One that hasnt got in which imo was a fantastic game.

Jade Cacoon - Ps1

I loved that game fantastic story and good gameplay

Front Mission 3

PS2:
Odin Sphere
Front Mission 4
Disgaea
Dark Cloud 2

One of my favourite series of all time right there

I never thought someone would recommend them though. It's just such a shame that Square does nothing but bum Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest these days, when they have other decent games they could show some love to =/

I personally cannot wait for the Front Mission 5 fan translation which is due out this summer. I've been waiting for 3 and a half years to play it and it is the only reason my PS2 is still hooked up.
